Alpine climbing in winter
MOUNTAINS IN THE SNOW
Climbing in winter? Just give it a try! The Winter Alpine Trail Hochzillertal starts at the Albergo mountain station near the Wimbachexpress. It leads through the snowy landscape to the Wedelhütte hut and should be traversed with climbing equipment. Once you reach the destination, you'll first enjoy the fantastic panoramic view – and then the well-deserved ski descent. The use of the Winter Alpine Trail is at your own responsibility and risk.

FOR THOSE WHO ARE NEVER TIRED OF SKIING
Gondola start: 7:30 am. Yes, in Hochzillertal you can never hit the slopes early enough. That's why there's the opportunity for early birds to sweep down the snow in the first sunlight.
For those who prefer to descend under the sparkling stars, there is the opportunity to do so on Fridays from 7:00 pm. Our house slope – the one to Kaltenbach – is illuminated until 9:30 pm. Another unique experience: Full Moon Skiing from the Kristallhütte, with drinks, dinner and a guided descent. Registration is required and spaces are limited.
